Ron Grove has worked in the power industry for more than 40 years. Currently he is the corporate Consulting Engineer, Chemistry for NRG and responsible for operational chemistry within the NRG fleet. Consultation and operational support includes water treatment, cycle chemistry, on-line instrumentation, wastewater chemistry, cooling water chemistry, FGD systems, chemical cleaning and project management. With power plants stretching coast-to-coast, he is often on the road providing chemistry support. Ron holds a BS in Chemistry from Albright College, an MBA from St. Joseph’s University and a Master’s in Environmental Engineering from Penn State. In his spare time Ron can be found enjoying his passion for Corvettes, auto racing and classic cars, and enjoying the outdoors with his Labrador Retriever Scout.
